Kenji (TBNTM Week 7 and 8)

So we made it to week 8 and week 9 after that. Sorry I didn't post the update before so I'm posting the two of them together. Week's 7 challenge was "Sweet Dreams" A photo of our budgie sleeping.

Then week's 8 challenge was "Ad Model" A photo of our budgie making an ad. I chose little budgie furniture, and of course it is made up!

Since the photos can't be modified, edited, or anything of the sort I had to take a photo of Kenji in front of the actual ad which wasn't edited. Smart idea right? and I wasn't the only one to use it.

Super Late Halloween

Hello everybody! well this is my super late Halloween post because my mom got a job and now we don't have much time to post.

<---- That's me in my Bumble Bee Costume. I like it because it keeps me warm during the long Halloween walk. It is a lot of fun! just walk and walk and walk while so many people tell me I look cute and come over to give me "Aww's"

And if I get tired we go back for a ride in the car with the window open! what can be better than that?

I love Halloween!

This here is my aunt Michelle as a witch and my uncle Aaron as Mickey Mouse he made that costume himself! and then there's me. Michelle didn't know how to hold me!


and here I am on the car ride after Michelle finished getting candy. The bottom pictures are all me with my costume again. I really don't like the hat that much. And then my ears get stuck to it when I shake.


And that's all about that! Halloween is great!

Cookie's hoodie

It has been a while since I last posted about Cookie. What is wrong with me! Cookie is the star of this blog!

Well she has something to say about her hoodie. .
Doesn't she look cute in it? I think she does. Pink goes really good with her as does any other color. I have to say that these photos are weeks or maybe months old, she's got way more hair now! woot and she is looking cuter everyday :)

But of course I'm the mommy here, I'll always say my baby is cute.. because she is!

Now on to some words from Cookie:

Finally! well here I am with my hoodie on. Yeah everyone says I look cute in it but I think it's annoying!

Corina: Oops Cookie you got an eye bugger on your face hold on!

Oh okay.. got it off? ..well as I was saying, this hoodie is annoying but sometimes if I get cold I will let mommy put it on ONLY IF I'M ACTUALLY COLD!
Back then when these pictures were taken my hair was very short so I got cold easier!
So I let mom put my hoodie on.



That's all I have to say about that!

And that was that! Thanks Cookie. Well it is true, she will only let me put her hoodies and sweaters on when she is actually cold. She puts one leg up, the other, stays still.. okay you are all set. But if she is warm there's no way she'll let me, she runs away as soon as she sees them haha :)

Kenji (TBNTM Week 6)/Cookie and Laysha update

We made it to week 7. Week 6's challenge was "Extreme Sports" that sure was a fun one!

On another note: Laysha was picked up today and everything is back to normal. Especially Cookie :)

..And we had our first snowfall tonight! Snow makes me sad but Cookie sure loves it!

Cookie and Laysha update/ Yukon's day out! (Camera Critters #81)

That's how she looks whenever we hold Laysha instead of her. Oh Cookie!

However, she is being a good girl now. Not minding Laysha as much as before. Laysha is the naughty one now! She growled at Cookie when she got close to me!

I can tell they are going to be okay though and that Cookie will survive once again :)

On another note.. Yukon had a day out in the front yard! He has a big enclosure just for him where he can't escape but today my mom decided to let him out in the part of the yard that's Yukon free. Its fenced but he can still get out so we don't usually let him out like that. He had fun :)

Laysha again!

So my aunt and uncle came today to ask a big favor. "Would you take care of Laysha again?"
Of course I said yes. They'll bring her tomorrow morning.
I told them to bring some of her toys this time! She'll be staying here until Tuesday.

I wonder how Cookie will react?

My Nose by Cookie

Today I'll talk about my nose. Well it's amazing! I can smell all sorts oh things with it! It's my favorite body part and the one I use the most. Food, flowers, friends, dirt, other friends, home, etc.. those are only some of my favorite smells. My absolute favorite is................. CHICKEN STEW!

I also use it to sneeze. I sneeze when I'm excited especially when I'm about to go potty! Potty breaks are almost my favorite parts of the day because I get to go outside and do whatever I want so when my mom says: "Quieres ir al baño?" which means "Do you want to go to the bathroom" I get all excited and sneeze! My mom thinks it's funny.

Dog Nose Facts
- A dog's smell is more than 100,000 times stronger than that of a human's

- Some dogs have the ability to sniff out suitcases filled with drugs.

- The longer a dog's nose, the more effective it's internal cooling system

- Fluid from a gland inside a dog's nose keeps the tip of his nose moist. This moisture helps a dog detect odors.

- The dog’s nose has up to 300 million chemo-receptors in his nose (compared to 5 millions in humans). Dogs with longer snouts have more receptors than dogs with shorter snouts.

- Dog nose prints are as unique as human finger prints and can be used to identify them.

We had a Disney setup at first. Since my brother went to Disneyland last weekend and I just felt inspired lol but I decided to go with my first idea which was Mexico!
So the next day I made a Mexican setup and I chose a photo from that photoshoot.
